基于僻义"创造"，那么原文coined一词就是题干中first used的同义替换。整句话理解为"发现了蝙蝠身上的声呐系统的美国动物学家DG创造了回声定位这个术语，用来包括声呐和雷达"。

单词认知是语言学习的基石。对于雅思考试而言，单词认知的广度和深度同样重要，其很大程度上直接影响阅读速度以及解题准确性。此外，我们同样要明确词汇量的衡量并不是以我们记忆了多少个似认识又没有真正认知的单词为标准，唯有深入理解单词含义，才能搞定考试，尤其是极限分值。

因此，基于"熟词僻义"，在备考过程中，我们不妨既通过刷题来完成熟词僻义的原始累积，也通过课堂老师的相关总结让这些积累更加全面，从而有效实现我们备考学习的效率。
